New Home Construction
From slab to ceiling. We leave room in the panel for what gets added after you move in, and we lay the lighting out room by room.

Homes and businesses across Victoria. Panel upgrades, EV chargers, renovations, new builds and service calls, all handled by our own experienced crew.
Most jobs fall into one of these. If yours doesn’t, call and ask.
From slab to ceiling. We leave room in the panel for what gets added after you move in, and we lay the lighting out room by room.
Additions, basement finishes, kitchen overhauls. Finished spaces always take a bit more planning, so we work out the routing before anything opens up.
Mortgage helpers and in-law suites. The suite gets its own circuits, and smoke alarms that interconnect with the main house.
100A to 200A, 200A to 400A. Adding a heat pump doesn’t automatically mean a bigger service, so we work out what the house actually draws first. If it does need upgrading, we pull the permit, book the inspection and file the BC Hydro application.
Insurance flagging your Stab-Lok panel or aluminum wiring? We replace panels like for like and pigtail aluminum circuits with copper, and we handle the permit and the paperwork your insurer asks for.
When the power goes out, the essentials stay on. Two ways to go, a portable generator with a manual transfer switch, or a propane standby that starts itself. The portable setup costs quite a bit less.
Level 2 chargers, hardwired or on a receptacle, at the house or the shop. We run the circuit out to where the car actually parks.
Call with the delivery date, because the spa panel, disconnect and bonding all go in easier while the pad is still empty.
Hardwired network runs, Wi-Fi access points and Lutron lighting control, labeled in the panel so the next person can make sense of it.
Welders, compressors, kilns, heat pumps, shop tools. Tell us what you’re plugging in and we’ll tell you whether the panel can handle it.
Fit-outs, tenant improvements, equipment hookups and service work for commercial buildings and multi-unit residential.
Every BC strata with five or more lots needs one, and the deadline for Greater Victoria is December 31, 2026. We write them for stratas where every building is Part 9.
Free written quotes on all of the above.
Dead circuits, tripping breakers, warm outlets, flickering lights. Service calls are billed hourly with a two-hour minimum, which covers the drive out and picking up materials. Usually the fastest thing we can fit in.

Peak is a locally owned company with our own crew of electricians. Since 2021 we’ve done service calls, renovations, commercial spaces and full custom builds all over Victoria, and we keep you informed from the quote to the final inspection.

Matt and his team has been a pleasure to work with. As a home builder, it’s refreshing to have great communication regarding the scheduling and costing throughout the project. Very transparent with their pricing. Highly recommend.
Matt and the team at Peak are a true pleasure to work with. Building high-quality projects requires trade partners who share the same vision for precision and professionalism, and Peak delivers every time. We especially appreciate their clear communication, reliable scheduling, proactive problem-solving, and cleanliness on our job sites.
We’ve worked with Peak Electrical a number of times on different projects and we’ve always found them to be highly professional and responsive. I’d have no trouble recommending them to anyone!
Two minutes on the form, or a phone call. Photos of the panel or the space help us give you a straight answer faster.
Service calls we book straight in. For anything bigger we come by, look at the panel and the space, and put a written quote together. Usually a day or two after the visit.
You get a start date. We pull the permit and book the inspection, and if timing shifts you hear it from us first.
Inspection passed and signed off before we call it done.

Depends on the season and the size of the job. Service calls are usually the quickest to fit in. Panel upgrades, renovations and new construction take longer to line up, because the start date also depends on permit timing, our crew, and on a service change, on BC Hydro. Tell us your timeline when you get in touch. If we’re booked up we’ll say so, and tell you when we can realistically start.

Yes. TSBC Licence #LEL0210207, WorkSafeBC in good standing, SkilledTradesBC registered employer. Insured and bonded, with $5 million in liability coverage. Happy to send the paperwork if you want to see it, and the licence number is searchable on Technical Safety BC’s public registry.
Yes, on anything that needs one. Depending on where the job is, the permit goes through Technical Safety BC or the City of Victoria. We work out which one applies, pull it, book the inspection and deal with the inspector. Permit and inspection fees are a cost on the job like anything else, and you’ll see where they sit on your quote or your invoice.
Yes. Service calls have a two-hour labor minimum, and that covers the drive out and picking up materials. A fixture swap, a dead receptacle traced and repaired, an outdoor receptacle added by the back door, a smoke alarm that won’t stop chirping. Most small jobs fit inside it. If we spot something that’s going to be a bigger job, we’ll stop and quote it before we carry on.
Service calls are charged hourly. Larger jobs are quoted, unless you’d prefer hourly.
No. Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm, and there’s no emergency line. If you smell burning or see arcing, shut that breaker off and call 911. If the whole street is dark it’s BC Hydro. Anything else, call us in the morning and we’ll get it on the list.
We do. We handle the full connection request. The one thing we need from you is a phone call to BC Hydro with the request number once we have it, to approve their charges and authorize the upgrade. BC Hydro bills their part directly.
We’ll get back to you within 1–2 business days.

We do work we’re proud to put our name on. Straight runs, labeled panels, sites left clean. If that’s how you work, we’re hiring electricians and apprentices. Send a few lines about your experience and where you’re at with your ticket.
We’ll be in touch if there’s a fit. If you want to send a resume in the meantime, reply to [email protected].
